MUNDESLEY COMMUNITY CHOIR
SATB MIXED VOICE CHOIR BASED IN NORTH NORFOLK
ABOUT US
Founded in 1982, The Mundesley Singers began as an all-female choir, bringing together voices to bring beautiful music to the village. In 2003, we embraced the addition of male voices, expanding our sound and forming what is now known as The Mundesley Community Choir. Today, we are a mixed-voice choir that includes sopranos, altos, tenors, and basses.
Our diverse repertoire spans classical, church music, popular songs, musical theatre, and jazz. We regularly perform at community events and hold concerts during the summer and Christmas seasons.
Whether you are a seasoned singer or just starting out, we invite you to join us in making music that brings joy to both ourselves and the village we call home. We rehearse on Monday evenings from 7:30-9:30 PM in Mundesley Village, and our annual membership fee is £40 per term, which includes the loan of sheet music. While we do use sheet music for most pieces, it is not necessary to be able to read music to be part of the choir.
We are committed to supporting all singers, ensuring that everyone feels comfortable and confident while participating.
If you’d like to give us a try, feel free to join us at one of our rehearsals! We’d be delighted to welcome you to the choir.
